After a 5-year hiatus, the Rochester VegFest is back, baby! On Saturday, August 24th, VegFest will be held in downtown Rochester at Parcel 5 from 10am-4pm.
Here's everything you need to know:
Vendors:
There will be over 40 vendors at the Fest this year. Shop from food vendors/restaurants, bakeries, apparel, home goods, books, and more. Everything will be vegan! Learn from non-profits, animal sanctuaries, and sustainable organizations. Get the full list here: VegFest Exhibitors.
Speakers:
There is a great speaker lineup:
- 11:30am, hear from Dr. Kerry Graff, Medical Director of Rochester Lifestyle Medicine Institute.
- 1pm, Sarina Farb of Born Vegan (a holistic vegan educator) will take the stage.
- 2:30pm, hear from Jim Hicks, a planetary health advocate.

Raffle tickets will be available from the volunteers at the entrance, at the VegFest booth (the only location for credit card sales), or the Raffle booth.

The raffle drawing will take place at 3:30pm, but you do not need to be present to win! Learn more about the Raffle Donors.
Kids Area:
Bringing younger children? Don’t fret, Rochester VegFest is always family-friendly and will have a children’s area with activities to keep them engaged as well!
Other Things to Note:
🗓️No RSVP or tickets required. Just grab your friends and head to Parcel 5 (285 E. Main Street) anytime between 10am-4pm on Saturday.
💦 There will be a water bottle refill station at the Raffle tent so bring your own bottle and be sustainable.
🚗 Parking: street parking in downtown is FREE on the weekends. But with great weather consider walking, biking or using Veo’s electric bikes or scooters. Midtown Parking Garage is also located directly beneath Parcel 5. Get garage details here: Festival Parking.
VegFest is a great opportunity to try new things, learn about and support local businesses and organizations, and meet some new people. Whether you are vegan or not, there is something for everyone.
We’ll see you Saturday!
