Here’s your current situation: you packed your bags, made it to the airport in time, fumbled through TSA screening with that one agent eyeing you like you belong in prison, and finally you’re here…looking out amongst the beautiful fluffy clouds after takeoff.
But wait, you forgot to pack a vegan snack or two to get you to your next meal…and suddenly you remember, there’s no need to worry, you’re flying JetBlue!
As of June 2024, the airline has taken the guesswork out of the equation when it comes to its onboard snack offerings. Starting this summer, ALL of the complimentary inflight snacks will be vegan-friendly.
And to answer your next question, NO, JetBlue Airways has not suddenly become an all-vegan company. But the beloved brand is flying towards being more sensitive regarding the traveling public and the rise of food allergies, overall shifts in dietary preferences, and making the inflight experience as inclusive as possible for the traveling public.
Let’s take a look at the All Vegan-Friendly Lineup of Snacks on JetBlue and some options you may encounter while onboard your flight.
1. Popchips
Sea Salt Flavor
From Popchips website: “forget frying (unhealthy). forget baking (undelicious). the [founders] had found a way to pop a chip with all the flavor and a lot less of the stuff that gives snacking a bad name.”
Vegan (no soy), kosher, non-GMO (only using safflower or sunflower oil), gluten-free, nut and dairy-free, no added preservatives, no fake flavors, and no synthetic colors.
Coming Soon: The Popchips Team is working hard to find a sustainable, recyclable, compostable, and biodegradable packaging solution for its future.

I know, I know….you’re thinking what kind of a hefty price did JetBlue pay for this fancy write-up and creative piece of advertising? The truth is that this is not a sponsored post, and it certainly wasn’t solicited by JetBlue.
This post, however, was written by someone (Jason) who has a 20-year career with the company and is very proud of the fact that JetBlue tries hard to make its onboard offerings as inclusive as possible. The company’s commitment to offering snacks that are not only vegan-friendly but also allergen-friendly helps ensure the majority of passengers can find something enjoyable to eat. This aligns with its vision of becoming the most caring travel provider in the industry.
So, the next time you board a JetBlue flight, rest assured you can sit back, relax, and snack on these delicious vegan (and allergen!)-friendly options…you may just find a new favorite treat for the long-haul.
Safe travels and happy snacking!
