The Great Vegan Mac and Cheez Cook-Off
We want to give a HUGE Shout-Out to Marcy, Maxine, and their Team at Project Vegan 716 in Tonawanda for putting on an exciting, first-ever Vegan Mac and Cheez Cook-Off this past Sunday, October 29th.
With about a dozen individual and business competitors (such as GUUD & EVUL Vegan Eats, Buffalo’s V-Spot, and 96 Lives Vegan Bakery & Cafe) plus lots of attendees as the jury, this event was all fun and most-totally delicious!
Congrats to individual contestant, Sydnee Alston, for winning the Kids Choice Award, and for Ali Lawrence of Rochester’s Spirit and Abundance for the Peoples’ Choice Winner.
We’re looking forward to this event growing and becoming a staple of the upstate vegan community in the years to come.
