Listing 101:

A “Listing” is a your customizable billboard—a verified space where you can showcase your brand and tell your story.

Listings are like prime real estate: when you invest in them, they can generate significant returns by helping you get discovered and extending your reach.

PlantiePops is making it easier to find local vegan, plant-based, and other interesting businesses and content quickly. By adding clear and engaging information to your listing, you make it even simpler for people to connect with you and your offerings.

We’re proud to offer an affordable platform designed by locals, for locals, giving our community the tools to promote and present themselves effectively.

Your Listing Type determines not only how you’ll be categorized and found on the site, but also what type of information you’ll be able to provide based on your type of business. 

There are currently 3 listing types:

1. Food & Drink – restaurants, cafes, bars, food trucks, meal service, grocery stores, catering, etc.
2. Lifestyle – shops, boutiques, animal sanctuaries, museums, non-profits, podcasts, and more.
3. Events – does your event have a sustainable, plant-based, educational or cultural focus? Use this!

We try our best to answer questions and support issues within in few hours of inquiry. However, please allow up to 48 hours for a response.

The more information you provide, the better we’re able to serve you. Everything is searchable, from tags, categories, to business hours, and even the description you write about what you do and offer.

We’re able to market this information to our followers and users of PlantiePops, easily and quickly. This, in turn, leads to better sales, more trust, and an overall better experience for not only consumers, but YOU, the merchants. 

Easily keep your information updated. With our “Open Now” search feature, keeping your hours up-to-date will help more customers find you when you’re open. 

Providing an up-to-date menu will entice them even more.

Each listing type includes a logo, a cover photo, and a photo gallery.

• A small square logo looks best, approx. 200x200px, must be less than 600kB.
• The optimum size for pictures is 1200x900px, must be less than 600kB.

Pro Tip: We use a web service called Canva. Canva offers a FREE version that is very capable of helping 99.9% of small, local businesses with graphics, photos, and more. Check it out!

Pro Tip: Utilize the FREE resource site TinyPNG to reduce large PNG, JPEG, and WebP files without losing quality.  

You have the ability to share a video on your listing! Our platform can accept video links from Youtube, Vimeo, or similar platforms. The embeded video will play right in your listing.
