Tell me 'bout it...
Famed Suffragist, Susan B. Anthony, was a long-time Rochester resident and her final resting place is in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The modest tombstone can be found in Section C, plot 93.
Ms. Anthony's work ultimately resulted in the passing of the 19th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution which secured women's voting rights. 2020 marks Susan B. Anthony's Bi-Centennial Birthday celebration (February 15th) and coincidentally the 100th-year since the ratification of the 19th amendment (August 26th).
