Plant-Based Nutrition for Social Justice

Join the Rochester Area Vegan Society's May Meeting for a lecture by Zachary Burns, DO, MPH on "Plant-Based Nutrition for Social Justice".

Time: 5:30 potluck and 7pm program (you do not have to participate in the potluck, you can just come for the program and talk!)

Cost: Free to RAVS Members. $3 Guest Fee

Location: Brighton Town Park Lodge, 777 Westfall Rd., Rochester, NY 14620. The Lodge is on the south side of Westfall between E. Henrietta Rd. (15A) to the west, and S. Clinton Rd. to the east. Look for the “Brighton Town Park” sign. The driveway leading to the Lodge is called “Haudenosaunee Trail.”

RAVS Rules for Share-A-Dish Meals: All dishes must be completely vegan. They may not contain any meat, poultry, fish, eggs, dairy products, or honey. Gelatin is a meat by-product. Please watch out for hidden dairy products, such as whey and casein or caseinate. Please prepare a 4×6 card with the name of the dish and all ingredients. Prepare enough to serve eight people. Please bring your own serving dishes and utensils, as well as your own dishes to eat from. The guest fee is $3.00, which can be applied towards your membership if you join the same night.
