Tell me 'bout it

17 Madison Street is the former home of world-renowned suffragist, Susan B. Anthony.

"The National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House is a learning center that shares the story of Susan B. Anthony's life and work through tours and programs at the modest home in the heart of Rochester, NY, that was the home base for the great reformer for 40 years, and through an online presence. Now a National Historic Landmark, the House was the headquarters of the National American Woman Suffrage Association when Anthony was president. Susan B. Anthony was arrested here for voting in 1872, and she died in her room in this house in 1906. Docents share the story of her courage and perseverance through tours from 11-5 every day but Monday and major holidays." (via FB Page)
